ZDayZ Car Show

Car Show May 3rd online Deadline? - Since the Car Show is a pre-registration event, and it will be a "top-shelf" event, the last day to register your car will be May 3rd. We did take a lot of effort into determining the date, and we decided that the 3rd would have to be the last day we could accept registration. We will need at least 3 weeks to prepare for the following factors: build and layout of the parking lot, determination of Car Show classes, trophies per class, judging criteria per registration, and sponsorship details.
.
After the May 3rd online deadline, you may still register for the Car Show. When you arrive onsite, go to the registration desk to register for the car show (you must be a registered attendee to register for the Car Show.) On-site Car Show registration will be $20.
As last year's car show, this one will not be a people's choice style. We are having judges review and grade the cars. This allows all of our attendees to enjoy the show without worrying about having to look at every detail of all the cars. The classifications will initially be determined based on pre-registration, then if we have enough registered cars to make extra classifications, we will do so for fairness.
Cars will be divided by model and modification level. Please note, some models and/or modification levels may be combined based on participation. For example, all cars could be included in one extreme class or all 240's, 260's, and 280's may be combined into one model division.
Modification Levels:
Mild: less than 10 visible modifications to the car (examples: lip kits, suspension, engine dress up, wheels, audio, exhaust, shift knobs, etc.)
Custom: between 10 and 20 visible modifications to the car (examples: full body kits, custom seats, roll bars, large audio/video installs, etc.)
Custom FI: between 10 and 20 visible modifications to the car with aftermarket forced induction (supercharger, turbo(s), nitrous).
Extreme: 20 or more visible modifications (examples: color change, wide body kits, custom interior; motor swaps, etc.)

As more cars fill each class we may opt for a 3rd place trophy or break them out entirely, i.e. If we get a ton of:
Z32 roadsters, we may break them out
G35s and G37s, we will separate them
GTRs, we will pull them out of "other"
S30s, we may break them out by generation
Etc.
Areas to be judged are:
Exterior
Interior
Engine Bay
Underbody
Each of these areas will be evaluated on:
Cleanliness
Condition
Execution Level of the modifications and/or restoration
Presentation
Each item on the judging sheet should be rated using a scale of 0-5 with 0 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. In addition, extra points will be awarded for display and owner presentation up to 10 points each. All sheets will be added up and the highest score in each finalized classification wins. The second highest score gets second place.
The highest overall score for the entire show will receive "Best of Show" honors. This person will not receive the first place in their classification as they will be bumped up to Best of Show. The next two highest scores in that classification will win 1st and 2nd place.
