The ZDayZ event will be held at Fontana Village Resort. We have been holding it there since we started ZDayZ six years ago. We selected Fontana Village to host our event because of the many on-site facilities:
- Honeymoon suites, Poolside Cabanas, Fireplace Rooms, Lodge Rooms, Cabins, and Camping
- The huge meeting facility called the "Recreation Hall" with 9,075 sq. ft. of room. This is the main gathering point for a lot of our get-togethers and events.
- Mountain View Bistro eatery if you would like a nice, sit-down meal and relax.
- A pretty, sweet grill called the Wildwood Grill. They have American food, spirits, plus a nice deck to just hang out on.
- A large, grassy field to hold gatherings and also where Movie and Concert Events will take place.
- Their is also a store where you can purchase anything from canned goods, bread, fruit, to soap.
Basically, Fontana Village Resort is a great place to hold an event such as ours. All of the events will either be held entirely at Fontana Village Resort, or they will begin and end at Fontana Village Resort. So, with that being stated, veteran attendees know that Fontana Village Resort is the best place to stay as far as location is concerned. So, make your reservations today before they are all sold out.

Fontana Village Resort: The grounds are perfect for a car event of this type. If at
all possible, you will want to stay here. All things ZDayZ will
be either held entirely onsite or begin/end onsite. Check-in is at 4pm, check-out at 11am. Early check-in is allowed if the unit is clean, but not guaranteed. FVR's Map

Blue Waters Mountain Lodge: This cozy inn sits right on Lake Santeetlah. It has 9 rustic rooms and 1 cottage. A gourmet breakfast is included. Dinners are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Smoky Mountain Mansion: Interested in having your own private mansion while attending ZDayZ? More spacious, private, and perfect for your get-away than you will believe, at prices that rival local accommodations. ZDayZ's attendee group discount will save your group money by staying at the Mansion (if appicable for 2010)!

Tapoco Lodge Resort: *** Update - This lodge will be closed for the 2009 season. We hope they will be back in business for the 2010 season*** The lodge sits right on the Cheoah River. This lodge has six rooms, a 2-room suite, and four economy rooms and seven cottages. Dinners are available seven days a week. (dinners not included in stay)

The Blue Boar Inn: Just off of Lake Santeetlah. The inn has eight rooms that have breakfast included. Three private 2 bedroom - 2 bath cottages. Dinner is available at an additional cost.
